The Church of God conducted a tent meeting in the Warren William housing community on Friday May 21st. We have been to this community before and have always seen a good turn out from not only the community but also those that just happen to pass by. This service was a very blessed service. It was amazing to see several children from the community walk over to the tent. They were invited to participate in singing songs like "This Little Light of Mine" and "Jesus Loves Me This I Know". Parents walked over. Young men stood and watched as the service went on. Testimonies from the saints rang out loud and clear from the speakers. Sis. Sandee, Sis Ariel, Bro. Daryl, Bro. Fabian and Bro. Greg all went forth in testimonies. Bro. Mark led a very inspired service. Pastor Burton preached an anointed message from heaven with clarity and souls flooded the alter for prayer! The saints rallied at the alter with those that desired prayer. Souls were saved from sin and commitments were made before God.
It's truly a blessing to see the hand of God move. The hand of God in this service was so evident that plans have already been made to remain in this community for the foreseeable future. The tent was left up as advertising to the community our plans to continue to work and our commitment to them. |
